How can I block adult websites?
On an iPhone or iPad, use Apple's Screen Time web-content restrictions. For a supervised Google account, Family Link can restrict Chrome to approved sites or try to block explicit sites. Microsoft Family Safety offers website and search filters for supported signed-in browsers. Follow the provider's current instructions for your devices.
You can also block theplaydevil.com in a child account or at the network level, and block any preview address your child can access. Cloudflare's optional 1.1.1.1 for Families resolver filters known adult domains, but a new domain may not yet be classified; coverage can change. A manual domain block does not depend on our age acknowledgment.
Does the age prompt or SafeSearch solve this by itself?
No. Our current prompt asks visitors to confirm an adult-access age; it does not verify identity or prevent a minor from clicking through. Search filters can reduce discovery but cannot be relied on to block every website, app or browser.
Use layered controls appropriate to the child's device, check the settings regularly and keep the child's account supervised. The site's final age-assurance obligations must be assessed separately for the markets we actually serve.
