What does the free experience cover?

Secrets’ quickstart describes a limited free chat allowance and a starter Moments grant. Paid tiers expand messaging and add allowances or features. Treat the free account as a limited preview, not as an unlimited substitute for a paid plan.

The service separates ordinary conversation from media spending. That is helpful if you mainly want chat and occasionally use an extra tool. It matters less if most of your time will be spent creating media, where the per-action cost becomes a large part of the decision. We have not verified the free onboarding experience with a new account.

How far can the included Moments go?

The published Premium allowance is 8,000 Moments monthly. At the image guide’s stated 50 Moments per base generation, dividing 8,000 by 50 gives 160 generations if every Moment is used that way. It is a simple budget ceiling, not a promise of 160 satisfactory images or a mixed-use package.

Audio calls, video, character creation and other actions draw on the same spending picture. Their presence in a subscription’s feature list does not make their usage free of currency costs. Work out a small basket based on what you actually want to use, then compare that with the available balance.

Which balance resets, and which does not?

Secrets distinguishes subscription grant Moments from top-ups you buy. The documentation says unused grants are replaced when the next monthly grant arrives, while purchased Moments do not reset. A declining displayed balance at renewal can therefore have a different explanation from an extra charge.

Do not stockpile top-ups just because a larger bundle looks attractive. The refund policy generally treats Moments purchases as final, with stated exceptions such as billing errors and applicable legal rights. Compare the refund and balance rules before paying, particularly if you are unsure whether you will keep using the service.

Are voice calls private, and how do you leave?

The audio documentation says raw speech is discarded after transcription, but also says conversations and memories are saved like text chats. Those are different retention claims. Discarding an audio stream does not mean that nothing from the conversation remains.

The refund policy says cancelling preserves access through the current paid period and addresses EU and UK withdrawal rights separately. Keep the confirmation and review any separate top-up purchases. Our public-source assessment does not verify backend retention, deletion completion or refund handling in practice. Those remain testing questions, not boxes we have quietly marked as passed.
