What should you know before signing up?

Build a custom AI companion and pick a plan around how much you want to talk. DarLink lists different message allowances by tier, with coins for media on top. The entry plan is not unlimited, despite broader wording elsewhere on the site.

What makes the DarLink plans different?

The observed plan table lists Essential, Advanced and Ultimate. Message allowances, included currency and advertised voice or memory options change by tier. That means the product decision is not simply whether to pay, but whether the entry-tier allowance fits how often you expect to chat.

We have not tested how the named memory levels behave over time. Labels such as enhanced or living memory are the vendor’s descriptions, not standardized measures. A meaningful test would use the same conversation facts across services and check recall later; until that exists, we will not award a quality score for the label.

Are images and video included without limits?

No unlimited-media conclusion is supported by the plan table. It lists a monthly currency allowance alongside image and video token charges. The token page confirms that currency is used for generation and interaction. Access to a tool and an unlimited quantity of output are different benefits.

The page uses both coin and token terminology. Before projecting a month of use, confirm they refer to the same spendable balance and whether any action has a different rate. We do not convert the allowance into a guaranteed output count until that wording and the actual checkout are reconciled.

Why do we flag the general terms?

DarLink’s August 2025 terms describe a Standard subscription with broad access to virtual companions and a separate influencer-specific subscription. The current public pricing page presents a different named tier structure and explicit quotas. Those descriptions are not sufficiently aligned to justify advertising every paid plan as unlimited.

This does not establish a billing problem or prove that a feature is missing. It establishes a question worth settling before purchase. Save the selected plan details, full charge, renewal interval and any clarification from support. A short-lived countdown should not replace that check.

Who should shortlist it?

DarLink is most relevant to someone who wants a configurable companion and is happy choosing an allowance rather than expecting one all-inclusive package. The terms describe recurring billing, so treat the first payment and the next renewal as separate numbers to verify.

For privacy, review the published policy rather than assuming that private-feeling chat is anonymous. We have not audited its storage or tested data deletion. Our current recommendation is a conditional shortlist based on documented format and plan structure; it is not a verdict on conversation quality, image realism or customer-support performance.
