Private chat, public settings: what to check before you subscribe

Who can see the things you create?

Start with audience visibility. Promptchan describes private generation as a paid feature that keeps creations out of its public feed. That is a concrete control to inspect before generating something personal; it is not a statement that the platform itself never processes the data.

Look separately for public-character settings, shared galleries and account identifiers. Use non-identifying information where possible and do not upload another person’s sensitive material without consent. OurDream’s help center says it restricts reference-photo uploads because of deepfake and other legal concerns.

What does the service process or retain?

Read the policy for conversation text, voice, uploaded images, identifiers and service providers. JOI’s policy describes several of those categories and states that external providers can be involved. A chatbot feeling intimate does not change that processing relationship.

Pay attention to what is and is not being deleted. Secrets’ audio help says raw audio is discarded after transcription, but conversation and memories are saved. A no-audio-storage statement is not the same as no conversation retention. We have not independently audited either provider’s systems.

Does cancelling also delete your account?

Treat cancellation, deletion and refunds as separate actions. Cancellation usually concerns future billing; account deletion concerns access and data; a refund is a request governed by the purchase terms and applicable rights. Do not assume one button completes all three.

Candy directs cancellation through subscription settings and describes continuing access until the paid period ends. OurDream’s help center lists a separate account-deletion process. Check each task deliberately, save the confirmation and avoid deleting your only access to invoices before resolving a billing question.

What happens to credits and paid content when you leave?

Unused balances and previously generated content can have different rules. OurDream documents subscription-dependent media access and limits on restoring old coins. Candy says subscription tokens expire when the relevant paid period ends. Neither should be assumed to behave like a permanent purchased download library.

Read the current policy before ending a plan, and only export content through permitted tools. Secrets’ refund policy treats subscriptions and Moments purchases separately and includes regional provisions. If statutory rights apply, a marketing line about final sales does not replace the applicable law.

What is the practical pre-purchase checklist?

Before paying, record the full charge and renewal date; check public-sharing defaults; read the relevant data categories; locate cancellation and deletion controls; and establish what happens to unused credits. If the answers are unclear, ask support before sharing personal details or committing to a long plan.

No comparison site can promise that an online adult service is completely private. Our role is to make the relevant distinctions visible and show the evidence. A future hands-on review should document what was actually tested, with dates and limits, rather than translating reassuring language into an unsupported safety badge.
